For those of you who call your BizOp leads when you have time, I suggest the following:

View your Contact List in your autoresponder member's area, Excel spread sheet, (or whatever database program you use) take a quick look at the email address of each lead, and tell me what you notice?

If you don't have a clue of what I'm talking about, read the title of this article again, and then look over the email addresses of your leads.

I believe it is a high percentage chance you see what I'm talking about now.

Here are some examples, for the rest of you who may still be scratching your head.

* Lead 1 - nipper@yahoo.com">nipper@yahoo.com * Lead 2 - abramova@yahoo.com">abramova@yahoo.com * Lead 3 - taxman@taxrelieve.com">taxman@taxrelieve.com * Lead 4 - ann@smithphotography.com">ann@smithphotography.com

NOTE: These are not actual leads, so please DO NOT TRY TO CONTACT THEM. Thank you.

Which prospects do you think I'll be calling on from these four leads first?

If you guessed leads numbered 3 & 4 you're 100% correct.

WHY?

If you notice the first two leads don't give you any real insight as to what the prospect does for a living, or how they present themselves (so to speak.)

The next two do, i.e. one looks like he does taxes, and the other looks like she may possibly be one of the owners of a photography store.

Of course the latter could just be working there, and using the business email address, but I like to assume the best case scenario (then again, she could be the owner's relative or daugher), and go from there in this instance.

Plus did you notice something else? Yes, they are using an email address they are probably paying for from their ISP, NOT a free "throw away" email address.

Not that free email addresses are all bad (I have one on the side myself), it's just not something I consider a positive, or negative at first.

If the email address is: "radicalchick@yahoo.com">radicalchick@yahoo.com", or "badboylike50cents@yahoo.com">badboylike50cents@yahoo.com" then I believe it is a high percentage chance that the leads are (can you say) marginal at best.

I look for leads w/ email addresses like:

* iownbiz@mysnowboards.com">iownbiz@mysnowboards.com

* productiveone@myproductions.com">productiveone@myproductions.com

* bizexp@iownmyownbiz.com">bizexp@iownmyownbiz.com

Again, these leads tell me a little something (possibly) about what the person does for a living, and it also tells me that they may have some good business experience under their belt too.

Two BIG pluses to start!

So you'll want to call on these people first, and maybe even mention you had noticed they are in business for themselves, and can appreciate that fact, because people "IN BUSINESS" for themselves know the real costs of doing business.

In other words... they are a lot less likely to flinch, or say "I don't know" when you ask them what their budget is to get started with (e.g. $300 - $500) in their own home based business.

AND that is a major PLUS, because once you know they (Mr. or Mrs. prospect) are pretty interested in taking a look at what you have to share with them, AND you know their budget (working Capital to get started in the business with), the rest is just a matter of being helpful in answering their final questions, and getting them signed up as a member, and into RSVP & MVP A.S.A.P.!

So now that you know where to begin with calling on your leads... all I can say to you now is: SMILE AND DIAL. :)
